Silicone Paper is used to create a barrier between the carcass and the 'pelt' or 'hide' whilst it is being removed, therefore preventing contamination and protecting your profits.
The blue silicone paper is a highly visible colour; which helps to ensure that any paper left on the carcass is easily spotted and removed. Silicone paper is highly resistant to animal fats and therefore has excellent non-stick properties.
